As you know, we were rained out last week. Thanks to so many of you who were able to accommodate and reschedule for tonight. Your kids seemed incredibly excited to come, and I'm happy to say that they just seemed to simply have a good time. None of them displayed unusual behaviors, difficulty listening to the sounds, no problems with the flashing lights. So, that was nice to see. They also engaged in good-natured competition, and they formed different groups within their teams, and simply seemed to enjoy the experience.
After laser tag, we transitioned walking over to Hamburger Hamlet, and the kids sat at two tables in the back. One of the reasons, again, that we do this kind of ordering in different restaurants, is to give them an opportunity to make choice on the menus, to be polite with staff when ordering, and to use good manners in general and enjoy themselves. To that extent, it was pretty successful. Only a couple of kids had any kind of problems, and those were managed using our usual procedures without further incident.
Remember, we will be meeting next week, and then we will be back on our first and third schedule. So, thanks to everyone. It was nice having the outing. -- Bruce
