At the mall, we set certain rules such as that adults would decide what stores they can go into or not and what items they could purchase and they were asked to accept this gracefully and without complaining. Almost without exception, your kids were able to do this. They practiced appropriate shopping behaviors, being respectful to staff and giving back extra change when they were finished. listen
